Meet Dr. Joseph Long
Dr. Joseph Long is from the small farm town of Herscher, Illinois, and enjoys being able to treat a variety of patient needs through the combination of medicine and dentistry.
About Dr. Long
Dr. Long’s father was the local medical doctor in his small farm town community. This inspired Dr. Long to pursue a career in the medical field, and after shadowing a local dentist, he appreciated how much dentistry allowed him to work with his hands. He shadowed an oral and maxillofacial surgeon and was immediately drawn to its wide scope of practice.
Reflecting on how patients respected his father, Dr. Long strives to achieve that same positive connection with others. He appreciates the level of trust that patients put into a doctor, and he wants to reciprocate that trust and do everything in his power to create an optimal outcome for every patient.
He considers it a privilege to diagnose and treat his patients. From routine treatments to complex surgical procedures, Dr. Long listens and guides his patients through every step of the treatment process. He is a firm believer in getting through the journey together.
